1930s romanticist inspired blouse “Manderley”
A sleek 1930s inspired blouse carefully manufactured in France. In a rather subtle, classy style it reflects the romanticist tendencies so popular during the prewar period.
It has delicately gathered fullness below the shoulder seams and on the back. The sleeves are extra wide and gathered above the long, buttoned cuffs.
The fabric, a rust colored premium quality viscose jacquard, underlines the elegant, very feminine design, as do the glossy mother of pearl buttons.
By the way: Viscose fabrics were known in the 1930s under the name “artificial silk” and very popular, above all among working women.
Worn with our tweed high waist trousers it makes a perfect outfit for any occasion.
